I’m using a VGate WiFi OBD adapter. I tried the VeePeak, button it wouldn’t connect and I swear I read that with IOS it needed to be WiFi not BT. Looks like I’m misinformed on this one for sure!

If you read the directions on Veepeak obd2 it tells you to go in to the wifi for your obd and check manual then input the numbers they give you manually and your iPhone will do everything normally. If you use Fusion you connect to it normal the first time then setup the manual entry and you will have no problems connecting automatically or using your cell data and things of the sort.

With the OBD Fusion logging function, you can't come close to the sample rate required to pull 20+ PIDS and get any useful amount of data. Been there, tried that (Carista BT dongle and OBD Fusion).
Techstream or Mat's logger app are what we use to send him feedback.
