Am I correct in assuming that the full kit contains all components needed to convert a factory tailgate to the super-duper-remote-lockable special? I thought the actuators themselves were an $80+ investment. If so, sign me right the heck up!

I have placed the order for the OEM connectors for the current batch now. Sometimes I wish I could rush things along but unfortunately I’m at the liberty of Toyota and how quick they collect the quantity of my order and then ship it to me. Sometimes it’s quick, but sometimes it’s longer than I like. However, when the time comes for the next batch, I will do the same as what I did for this last one where I open it up and have individuals send me PMs for their requests and payments for a select timeframe. Then I will close it and place the order for that batch. This process seems to work the best! So for those that didn’t make this current batch, stay tuned because there will be another one.

ANNOUNCEMENT - Here is a timeframe for everyone in this CURRENT BATCH that I have just been given by TOYOTA:

This order will take us probably a couple weeks, as there aren't even that many of each of these connectors in the entire country at this point. We will have to order them in from Toyota (Japan) a few at a time (anything larger than 5, they will cancel on us automatically, so we will have to order them incrementally). For the quantity beyond what is currently stocked in the U.S., it's hard to say, as the remaining ones will have to come from Japan.

With that said, in the meantime, I will make sure to have all of the Wires Pre-cut, Terminals connected, actuators in stock, wire Harnesses pre-made, and anything else that is in my control all ready to go. Therefore, when these connectors finally do arrive, all that will need to be done is assembly and then get them shipped out to their new owners. I promise I will do my best to have a quick turnaround once they are in my possession.

For now, take your trucks out and enjoy them off-roading, mall-crawling, or whatever it is you like to do I’ll continue to post pics with updates.

 

I would like to get the PNP harness, how can I be added to the list? I also have a hookup with Toyota parts so let me know if you need help ordering more of the connectors
