Those are some of the best videos though. Nice to see other people struggle like I do from time to time!

Yesterday, in the variable rain... I replaced my 1.25” spidertrax with .75" Bora spacers. Like the reduced protrusion, and makes room to put bigger tires in the future without rubbing.

    Before (with 1.75”)

    After (with .75")

Well, mystery burning/hot smell in the engine bay returned. No idea what the source is. Maybe just road grit burning off the exhaust from all the black ice/salt.

    Thanks!

It's lifted on Bilstein 5100 Shocks and OME 885 Coils, Deaver AAL, 1.25" wheel spacers on all 4. You can purchase the kit here: https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p440/Coil/Bilstein_5100_Kit_-_(HS05BK-1).html

Truck started to rattle directly under me when I put it in gear and accelerate from a stop but it didn’t seem like it was coming from the transmission. Looked under the truck today:
    65CE99A6-53E1-4B01-B909-6DE26D91FDA9.jpg

Anyone have any idea what this band clamp is on or what it used to be securing...?

    Thanks in advance

It may be the clamp itself rattling. More than likely a heat shield for the exhaust.

Pulled 30in led bar back to wipe down. What a big difference it made.

Man the things we do for our trucks :D Spent way too much time laying on the cold, wet, and icy ground changing the oil and greasing all 14 of my grease zerts. Butt cheeks were so cold I paid my sister to rotate my tires (She probably would have done it for free, but I think a cold dirty job like that deserves $20)

Mine has 9, soon to be 13. Aftermarket UCAs and LCAs have 2 per arm.

Plus the 5 on the front and rear shaft.

    Edit: What he said ^^^

Not sure but definitely check your catalytic converter heat shield. Know to rattle. I would take it off and get new bolts and put it back on. Fixed my rattle

Today I finished installing a cheap-o grille. Last week was headlights. Swung by the dealership and grabbed rotors, pads, plugs and some misc. fasteners that had fallen out.

This is all the consequence of hitting 300K and having some sort of truck life crisis. I might even start washing it now.
