That’s the exact Benchmade I carry. It’s not cheap, always afraid I’m going to misplace it

Anyone needing storage should consider the Nalpak system. There are a variety of different sizes from 20 to something like 88. 5 inches sits proud of the foam insert and not enough that the case lid won’t close.

Shorties might slip down enough that they’re difficult to get out.

Solid case too. Vent and features included.

Good eye! These are some old pics, they are nice and broken in after some years of use now.

I'm pretty sure that all I am going to do is demonstrate how old I am...but here goes...

I was issued this blade in 1982, and it went from being my 'work' knife to my hunting/camping knife, and I will confess that it shows its 'experience'...and yes, the paracord is (relatively) knew, i think I put that on about 15 years back.....

Thanks they are a real joy to use. The hatchet can go all day chopping/hewing/carving and the axe is on the smaller side so great to carry when out checking things in the woods.

The handle wood is a bit light though and not as sturdy as hickory which I favor.

I do make them myself. At one point I was selling them here and there but I just don't have the time and the time/effort I put into each one is just a bit too much to commit to.

They are quite expensive, but Nathan has D3V dialed in and there's no steel out there quite like it. My wife and I used CPKs on Knife or Death on the History Channel.

These are hard to get. You can pick them up on the secondary market on Bladeforums. If you like, I can keep an eye out for you.

Here are the sale threads for reference:

Is this a BCNW - 01 knife? Or a Nordic bear? Fantastic nevertheless
