I'm a little worried about the direction of this thread. I've been watching from the back of my seat just reading and enjoying the commentary but now its getting a little wild with all this seed being spread everywhere before people get there. Plus if alcohol is going to be involved, not sure I want to partake in those activities.

On second thought, "family event" and "sex orgy love fest" probably arent the most comforting descriptions together ...

 

We can talk about this at the event. There may be something that can happen but it needs to be well thought out, not just by me.

weird, some libertarian group in TN tried to clean up a park and the rangers there told them to go away.

 

Great thought. I’m not able to attend the festivities this year but I’d still toss a few pesos into the kitty.

 

There were rangers there? That’s odd. The Friends of LBL are the the ones who asked for volunteers, they are the ones who run your visitor centers there. I thought it was great idea and I live close and am out there about once a month anyway. All the rangers and forest service peeps were not present at all for the shutdown.

 

No idea, I just saw some FB post about them being asked to leave. Not sure where in TN it was
