@dan0mite should have taken your advice and not gotten the stupid 3D printer. I'm selling it. Thing is a true piece of shit lol. It's been not working for the last week and I've used my last bit of patience on it today trying to get it running. I officially have zero more patience with it and if I try doing somethingn again with it, I will most likely punch it and destroy everything.

 

Which one is it, to avoid it.

And the lead times are going up! j/k wish I had some spare cash to spend on some skids or something.

 

It's the Ender 3. It was supposed to be one of the best lower-end models. My friend has had absolutely zero issues with his. I've had nothing but trouble. Haven't had a single print in the last week because it's just not working. I spent 2 hours trying to get a level bed, and then went to print a test print, and it failed instantly. I just give up. It's going on craigslist tomorrow.

 

Highly doubt it. I did order through Amazon... maybe I Can get a refund

Yup. I just went to my orders to check. It looks like I can get a refund! Wish I hadn't just thrown out the box for it though

Part of me wants to get a replacement and start from scratch. But with my luck something else will go wrong and I'll get frustrated again and just want to return it lol

 

Didn't work the first time? Try again. Didn't work the second time? Try again. Didn't work the third time? Shit's broke... Send it back.

Or ... Didn't work third time? Alter application method. Attempt new application and new methods. Aka “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.”

How are you really feeling about this printer?

 

I really want one because it’s fun. When it works lol. But I just can tell I’m gonna get frustrated with it again when shit goes south. I don’t have the patience or time to figure these mechanical issues out when they go wrong. I’m in IT, not engineering
