That’s not saying much.... never been a fan of ridgelines, looks or otherwise.

I am a fan of the looks of the older hilux, but the newer ones not so much.

 

I did see the VW 4door truck here. Looks better than the ridgeline but not an official truck

Had the day off and bought some Husky floormats. Delivered in a few days. Weather beater style, just the fronts this week, lol. Shit aint cheap! Probably get the rear mat in a week or two, after payday. More money on the truck, if I was at work this wouldn’t have happened!!! Lol

 

Sharing some personal info .

As part of getting older(yes you'll be there someday ) I had my 5 year exam for a colonoscopy today .
Found one polyp and removed it. Sent it out for inspection Dr. said he wasn't worried nor am I .
This topic may be seen as off color by some but the outcome of not getting an exam could be much worse.
So everyone keep up with your Dr. exams so you can enjoy your families, and friends ,and your truck and toys.

Wisdom from an old timer-- I would like to think so .

Schools around here already canceled for tomorrow.

Son's daycare sent an email out tonight saying that they are closing at 1. We're just going to keep him home... Not worth sending him for a couple of hours, especially since they already canceled his usual Tuesday morning swim class.

I'm still undecided on what to do... Supervisor pretty much gave me the ok to work from home tomorrow. Unsure about what my coworker will do... Guess it depends on what it's like tomorrow morning when we wake up, but I bet if there is a bit of snow on the ground he'll stay home. LOL

 

Looks like the new Ridgeline to me in the back of the cab/bed area. In a bad way.
But it does have 6 lug donuts.

Yeah, they closed my wife’s school last night as well. We dont even have any snow. Not one snowflake!

I am 33 and my college roommate just had one done, found multiple polyps and he is scheduled to get them removed. Results came back yesterday, not cancer yet, but WOULD have been really bad if he waited too much longer. I am going to pressure my doctor into scheduling one next physical. My grandfather died from it, and cancer is in our family. No joke and its really not that bad from what I hear. Get your self checked guys!!!!

 

Hmm I have a physical next Friday...

 

Came in to work... so far it is just my co-worker and I in our department.

We were talking about possibly bolting at 10 or so and working from home if we're the only ones here still by then.

 

No school, this is bs. No snow!!!! The woman and I had the day off too, kidless until this bs happened!!! We totally would have been in school today!!!! But my mats should be here today!!! Yay.

 

yeah, it took my gram. I had first done at 50 - all clean, but my guts come from the other side of the family. All my siblings have had polyps removed. One cousin who didn't have his checked had a bunch of intestines / colon removed at 50. Turns out he & I waited 10 years too long to check - who knew? I got away with it, he didn't, but at least he survived it.

If there is a family history, current thinking is start looking at 40. Really nothing wrong with looking sooner. Tell the Dr. you're REALLY stressed over it & he can likely get the insurance co. to authorize a colonoscopy in your 30's.

You sleep through the whole thing, so it's really easy. Only discomfort is a little bloated after as they use puffs of air to clean off anything they want a better view of, so you end up a little bloated & gassy afterwards. No big. It's so nothing, it's ridiculous to not do it.

Weatherman said snow was a couple hours away (an hour ago).

 

Co-worker and I bolted out at 10. Took 20 minutes or so to get home.

 

Happy Tuesday! Making our way up north; stopped in Brattleboro for a bite to eat and still no snow.

 

Mats came today. Quick. Now gotta wait for snow to go away and vacuum and put them in. And save for the rear one. Lol
