    Hello Everyone!

Haven't done a whole lot to my truck yet, but hope to in the near future :)

Purchased my 2015 XSP-X in Oct. of 2017. Previously, I was into Jeeps (Cherokees and Grand Cherokees) but I wanted a new adventure, so here we are!

Here she is the day I brought her home:

A quick trip to the ocean for some dramatic sunset shots ;)

After that, the first order of business was new tires. Went with 265-75-R17 BFG Mud Terrains (the original KM1). Slight increase in road noise, but worth it for traction so far, I'd say.

So far, I am just working on the typical TW basic mod type stuff. @boogie3478 and his YouTube videos got me started right by hooking me up with some awesome TRD door latch covers :)

    20180101_132705_0ff424b021c469c9cc13d5b4f2a53826f9946c28.jpg

From there, I saw his video on probably the most popular mod here, the Chinese climate control knobs. I think it makes a world of difference from the stocks.

    20171229_175531_84f97e442142456f61bec4b5c38cbcd710927772.jpg

Finally, I replaced the boring stock shift knob with this one from Amazon, supposedly for a Hilux. Either way, I think it is a lot prettier to look at than the stock one, plus it fits with the carbon-fiber theme of the XSP-X.

    Stock:

Current plans for the foreseeable future include an interior LED light swap, starting with the gear selector bulb (again, thanks to @boogie3478), vipmoto LED taillights, a canopy, and some iteration of a 3" lift. Would also love to do some kind of exhaust system, but being a former Jeep guy, I'm not sure what a lot of you guys run. Flowmasters?

If anyone has any other recommendations or questions, please let me know. Hoping to keep posting here more often!

So today, I decided to tackle something I have wanted to do for a long time on the truck. Ever since I got the truck, I thought that the chrome rear bumper seemed a bit out of place for the overall motif of the truck. I will eventually replace it with some type of offroad bumper (given the obvious dent on the left side from the previous owner), but for now, I have plasti dipped it black - it finally seems to look right to me, and I can't believe I put off doing it for this long.

    Before:

How well it holds up remains to be seen, but for now, I think it looks pretty good.

Also, I completely forgot that I did not include shots of the LED replacement for the gear indicator.

Here is a shot of the before, the stock bulb:

And here is the cool white LED:

The pics don't quite do it justice, but the LED is noticeably brighter, without being too bright.

I hope my next truck will look like yours. Looks nice. Never heard of an XSP-X before, gotta look that up. My dad has a Tundra with those bolt fenders and it looks cool.

Thanks a lot, man! The X-SPX is/was a South east US appearance package that added the bushwhacker style flares, hood scoop, step bars, and a few other items .

I think they are worth a look!

Howdy Friends! It's been a little bit since I've posted but you know how life gets.

I found a great deal on an ATC camper shell on LetGo, but as you can see, the color doesn't match, lol. Currently it is at a local shop getting painted to match, but I am looking forward to getting it put back on, and start making use of it.

At this point, I'd love to add some lighting and make some kind of sleeping platform for camping, though I'm not sure how to handle the whole being taller than the bed is long. I'm not the tallest alive at 5'8", but I did lay back there just to test, and realized I'll either have to lay diagonally or make some kind of extension. (More on that later in the future)
