0-60 GEN2 TACO time test....totally stock w/310k miles....8.45 sec

by march 1st the results will be uploaded for your enjoyment
(for further investigation, I will perform the 0-60 time test before & after an oil change
to see if fresh oil has any impact on the simple 0-60 run)

for the moment,
are you interested in knowing how fast a 2013 (4x4) 300k+ mile
gen2 v6 4.0l taco jams from 0-60?

did the test 5/13/19
its right around 8.5 seconds at 310k miles

Honestly, my 07 6 speed pulls pretty good.

 

This isn't gran turismo, changing your oil won't gain anything

 

He will make sure the new oil run will be faster. You can count on that lol

first off..... how the hell do you have a 2013 with 300k miles?!?!!

 

Zero chance OP shows a slower time for the freshly changed oil run.

 

You drive 137 miles a day - 7 days a wk for 6 yrs.

 

fuck that noise.... life is WAY to short for that.

 

I don't even drive 137 miles a week, never mind in a day. that's just yuck

I had an 2009 xrunner with a 6 speed....got a fat ticket doing 130mph south of SF on the 280 many years back

according to my calc's:

my taco moves 5 miles every hour on average (whether its sitting still or moving) since I got it
yes its nuts
I spent nearly $40k on gas in six years

 

for me 137 is a pleasure to drive in the taco....kick on the tunes, set the cruise control & enjoy the ride
(ever since I moved to Oregon from SF bay area, driving is less stressful & more enjoyable...maybe the lack of traffic....
there isn't even a traffic light in the town I live in)

its those 700,800, & 900 mile runs that wipe me out (& driving in California mainly)
