Hey guys just bought an 07 Tacoma regular cab, automatic a few weeks ago. Got a steal on it for $4k with 118 miles. I’ve owned 2 Tundras before but I don’t need anything that big right now and I like the better gas mileage.

Took it to the shop for a full inspection and recall check. Had 5 open recalls and one was the frame. They’re replacing that now. Dropped it off Friday and should be done Wednesday. They even sent me some pics of the truck apart if I can figure out how to attach them here. Loving the truck so far and no engine codes.

They already mentioned both of the boots were torn to the wheels, sorry not good with suspension and steering component names. They had to replace the steering rack. Then then high pressure hose was seized going to the pump. So some extra costs going in right off the bat but still worth the purchase price. Also have the car fax showing oil changes every 3k. Spark plugs and transmission fluid done once. Going to be replacing all fluids soon though.

I think that's great that they sent you some pictures of the work being done as well as giving you a heads up on part needing to be replaced. You're right, you did get a great deal, which helps for any parts needing replacing. Best of luck, and welcome to TW.

Yes I’ve been using Priority Toyota in Hampton, VA for years now and love their service. No shame in promoting a good business. Never had a bad experience in the 5 Toyota vehicles I’ve taken there.

Welcome to the board.. I would not suggest going to the Priority Toyota in Chesapeake they are always in a state of confusion.

Nice score! Based on what I've seen on this forum and others, 120k is just "nicely broken in". You should have many more miles to go on it especially after the little refresh it's getting now.

    Welcome and best of luck!
