I've posted this before but had to share in this thread. 99 Massey Ferguson 1240 with loaded tires, backhoe, blade, and probably 200# worth of chains and wood block. I was shocked, when I really sat down and did the math I'm pretty sure I was hauling 7200 lbs . But the way the load was balanced she wasn't sitting on the bump stops! I'll have to grab a pic of it sometime. Still very paranoid to haul this much weight again. I'm over here worrying about frame bending, axle twisting to the point of driveshaft failure, receiver ripping off...lol. I recently bought a tongue weight scale so I am curious to see what tongue weight I was running.

dang bud.....that is def using our truck for its main purpose....pulling & loading!

when I moved to oregon 6 yrs ago, I filled mine to payload & pull max
not sure how I made (specifically how I stopped) I def had 1000 pounds in the bed/cab & I was pulling a 12' uhaul trailer
filled to the brim (must have been 3000-4000 pounds)

    tacos rock!
    thanks for your upload

    None.
That's a few hundred pounds of Koa wood shipped from Hawaii (my dad is a wood turner). Not really work, but it's probably the most I've ever moved.

    3" lift
so, I gave my new Taco a hell of a workout this fall. Here’s what happened:
decided to move to SoCal from Fairbanks, Alaska. a friend offered to pay all expenses including gas if i towed his JDM HiAce 4x4 diesel RV to Vancouver. My girlfriend flew down previously, so i needed to take all her things too. clothes, stuffed animals, kitchenware, camping gear completely filled the bed and RV. I drove 5500 miles down the Alcan, stopped in Vancouver ditched the RV, filled my cab to the roofline with clothes, stuffed animals and frozen salmon, drove to SLC to visit my little sister and jetted to Orange County.
At my heaviest, I was towing over 8000lbs, with about a ton in the cab/ bed, spent about an hour a day finding the perfect balance on the trailer to not ride the bump stops or to make the trailer a flailing deathtrap, i averaged 8.2MPG, slept 4 nights in a sleeping bag on my roof (2 were in freezing rain conditions in northwestren canada), ran out of gas twice thanks to canada not having 24 hour service stations. Had about 1/2 a quart of blow by after running about 4500rpm for about 9 hours straight.
ran flat-out from idaho to slc, vegas up until i hit riverside county much of which was 95 degrees+.

made it to Cali safe and unharmed in less than 5 day, never once thew a code or overheated, no burnt fluids, haven’t lost a drop of oil since i made it through the mountains in Northern Canada.

10 bags of concrete in the bed and 350lbs of lumber on the rack...made several trips like this for fence posts.

More fence materials...this is trip 4 of 5. I was getting pretty good at packing it in at this point. 2x4 on the roof and fence boards in the bed.
