Thank you! Rhino Rack Backbone (side rails) Tacoma specific RTTB1 and the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform 42100B. Roughly 48" x60".
Thanks! I looked at a few, this was available in Kelowna so went with it. I am glad with the end result!

    Cheers

I don’t have a clamp like that on my truck exhaust that looks like it was added by someone after the fact.

The same shit everyone else has.
Jumped on the seat spacer band wagon.

12.9 flange bolts and 1/2” spacers. The spacers are hardened shaft collars. 3/4” OD 3/8” ID 1/2” tall. Under 10$ from the local Ace Hardware. Curious to see what, if any difference these make.

Installed an EZ-Down on the tailgate.

    upload_2019-2-11_22-37-2.jpg

You can see the modifications I had to do to get the piston and cable to not bind.

    upload_2019-2-11_22-47-37.jpg

    upload_2019-2-11_22-48-8.jpg

    1. I had to trim down the inner tailgate skin. (Light grey spot in the picture) super easy, just used a wood file to reshape the edge.

    2. I had to tweak the cable. Bent the top mount so the cable pushes itself towards the taillight. Bent the bottom mount so the cable pushes towards the tailgate. You can see the S shape the cable makes now. This lets the cable fold over and sit next to itself instead of on top of itself. This should keep it from binding like it does for people.

    3. I added another washers to the bottom mount along with the factory washer. This keeps the bottom cable from binding on the inner skin.

Worth the little bit of trouble I think.

Added yellow LED bulbs to the Hella 500s.

I had to make a set of bulb springs to clear the new bulbs. The Hella ones didn’t fit the new bulbs. Added male spade terminals to them since they ground through the body of the lights.

Light output sucks compared to a modern LED light bar. Not super concerned, just dig how the lights fill the void in the Satoshi.

Also ordered an FJ fog light switch w/ indicator.

I was blown away how the OEM bumper just crumbled from a tiny hit.:annoyed:
The new bumper has a hidden hitch behind the license plate. I would definitely recommend that route rather than trying to make one work with the OEM hitch. Given, if you were to find a good deal.

The orange LEDs staring at me while driving were getting old! A little soldering later and we have pure white.

Do I actually even own a Tacoma without letting the world know I’m on TacomaWolrd?

They did go under. I happened to get extremely lucky and got mine off a member on here who just replaced this one with a swingout and lived 30 minutes away.

Custom 2.5” Radflo coilovers arrived today. Was a hard choice between these and King. Ultimately I got a deal (and a T-shirt) I couldn’t refuse from @state48overland.
