I've already made a few posts on here and I actually bought the truck on Friday but I've always wanted to make one of these posts. Finally bought my dream truck! I've been wanting a Tacoma since I was little and years later here we are. Also excited to be a part of TacomaWorld too!

So...What are some 'must have' mods I should get pretty early on? So far I've done the ImMrYo mirror riser and purchased the Seat riser from Olecoot. Will soon be replacing the sound system and adding a sub from the equipment in my old car too.

I miss my 2nd gen. It had more low end power.

    Enjoy man!

I recommend weather tech floor mats and I loved my K and N intake on that truck.

Yeah I went with this over a 3rd gen for that reason. I saw some Husky mats that fit too any reason to go Weather tech over husky? Also sick truck.

Congrats and Welcome!! Decide how you want your truck to perform and how you want it to look and choose your mods wisely. You can’t go wrong, but you sure can spend some $$. Keep us posted!

Congratulations! I bought my dream truck ['03] in 2005. Love it so much I bought an 05 4runner in '10.
Be prepared to spend all your extra money on upgrades.
Personally, i'd love to get my hands on your truck. My daughter wants mine.

I can save you a box full of coin - Wash it, wax it, and drive it! Tacoma's are extremely capable stone stock, nice looking without a lot of bolt on mods, and resell better if left alone. Weathertechs, seat covers if you have a mutt, bed mat (Bed Rug) and cover if you carry stuff. You have a nice looking truck, drive it a few years to see if there is anything it won't do first.

I 2nd the motion to get Duratracs. Not too loud for an aggressive A/T tire, "great rain rating" and also has the 3 peak snow designation!

    I went with 265/75/16 (C load)
