One (blank) man is stupid, therefore all (blank) men are stupid.
This is prejudice in its purist and ugliest form.

I see some people here get all worked up over a fun question in a fun thread.
They must be humor or sarcasm challenged.

Keep in mind that some of these old guys developed the whole concept of the internet and are still writing the code that runs these forums.

I think that people either get it or don't when it comes to computers. There is a grey zone in between. Age has zero to do with it.

Sorry but that question is kinda silly. I’m 47 and that NEVER crossed my mind. My age only enhances me as far as knowledge and wisdom and as far as the body keeping up with the mind... that’s another day.
With that said if you saw a 85 year old man hopping out of a bad ass Tacoma would you say what the hell is HE doing in that or would you say damn check out grandpas tacoma?

As far as “clubs” go. Yea I get you. The can be clickie and tend to be peer generated but your and their attitude covers all bases not age

I didn't fall off the turnip truck last night and I am the Technical Specialist for the Enterprise Content Management Systems. Kids are afraid of the command line today, drop to a shell son. But they always want to have that graphical user interface to point and shoot that mouse. Then again at the command line you have to know what your doing, no guessing.

61 soon and still shooting grouse off the beaten path with the dog, don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

    haha, kids....

at 51, i had smart phones before there was an iphone or android.
been using forums and playing games online before broadband was widely available.
the first computers i used were an IBM clone, and apple IIE (back in high school) and remember when the mouse was invented.
Ive been using gmail since it was in beta. ( lol )
I take care of multiple computer systems for a hospital now.
I build high end workstations for radiologists to read radiology images acquired digitally.
I also teach some of the younger doctors how computers work. they still call the computer case a "hard drive"

Some docs here still call a computer a CPU, the IBM AS400 used to be made in town. Also in Medical, #1 ranked hospital in the US. Retired from the Navy more than 20 years ago, time flies by fast when your having fun :D

I brought VMWare into where I work. Had to upgrade 60 NT 4 print servers and more than 10K printers. Screw that LOL. Also lot of midrange, Nix and mainframe at one time. Gee wonder if that TCP\IP protocol thing will ever take off?!

    nice.
we use hyper v here. so much so that if you suggest a physical box you almost get laughed at. one of our "old guys" ushered that in.
I guess im wondering now if IPv6 will ever take off... lol

I am 52, owned Tacoma's since 1985, then traded for a new Tacoma in 1995, then traded that for a Tacoma in 2005. I currently have 194K miles on it and keeping up with the 3rd Gen Tacoma Forums to see what I will be trading this one in for. I like the new options on the 2020, and will probably be getting one of those once ordering is allowed. Now will it be OR, Sport or Limited... hmm.

Also been in the medical world of IT for 29 years. Also a Professional Wrestler. Tag Champions in 4 federations, current Heavyweight Champion.
