Snoring too loud the night before......

    Like Mccolough chainsaw loud.

Bad sleep apnea......CPAP unit has been very effective towards treating it.

Dropped mask and broke it.....waited too late in the afternoon to go out and get a replacement.

Snored like a beast and ran her outa the bedroom.

Yesterday hooked up with not only a new mask but a brand new machine that is ninja quiet.

Hopefully all will work out tonight.

My wife snores and I talk in my sleep like I'm running for office...we're screwed. But I cook and make coffee every morning so I get a pass. Bacon wrapped chicken, stuffing, roasted vegetables, a crap ton of gravy and a Guinness, I'm going to be fat one day.IMG_20190120_195456754.jpg

I have seen this happen to one other person on here but feel the need to post this to warn others.

I had a pyrex dish explode on me last night.
I have been using these dishes for years and while I understand they are a glass dish I have always abused them with no trouble.

Last night I pulled my dish out and accidentally placed it on one of my electric coil burners that I just took a boiling pot off of (the burner had been shut off).
I poured food contents into the dish and it proceeded to explode as I was standing over it. These dishes do not simply crack and fall apart as I would expect but explosively shatter into thousands of peices.

I am extremely fortunate I was not holding it when it happened or I’d probably be cut up pretty bad.

This was a genuine Pyrex dish that Pyrex advertizes can be taken from a freezer to a 350F preheated oven with no risk of breakage.

I was tired last night and stupidly placed it on a hot coil. My fault. Just posting this as a warning to those of you who use these.

I would not expect this to occur from abusing the glass. Cracking yes, but not something this dangerous. I actually had peices of glass ontop of my fridge.

    Please use caution with these.

I did this when I was like 9 or 10. Scared the piss out of myself. I learned a valuable lesson that day: pyrex can go almost anywhere but the range.

The white corning ware stuff explodes also. A friend thats now passed away did something similar but left the burner on and put a casserole on it. It exploded but luckily she had just left the kitchen. There was glass shards stuck in the wall.

I did it to a white Corning ware. Made some sauteed mushrooms on the grill in it. When I brought it inside I didn't realize the wife had just shut the stove off.

I usually only post foodies that I made myself, but wanted to add this. It's called a hog wild sampler at a local bbq place. For about $25 my son and I shared this one and we were stuffed beyond comfortable belt line.
