No, waiting on parts from mcmaster. Should go on pretty quick and easy when they arrive. The factory roof cross bars had me a little worried. So I decided to go a slightly different direction. They should arrive this week and I'll get the basket up there. I might mount a plano box up top next to it depending on room. Not sure what I would put in it yet though tbh so maybe not.

This kinda water and water crossing in general won't bother anything as long as you don't go too deep and stop. It's salty brine like the ocean and salted road states that gets ya. Could do water crossings every day an be fine though.

So have we talked about a starting/meetup point and time/date for the group as a whole?

I'm thinking that if we are running south to north up to about Globe, maybe we should have the main start/meetup point be Montezuma Pass. That way, if there are stragglers or anyone that misses one of the other meetups for whatever reason, we have an official gathering point to kick this thing off.

Just need an official time to go with it. Since some have to work on that Friday the 22nd, maybe make it from 4pm to 6pm or something? For anyone that doesn't think they could make it to the starting point by that time on Friday, we could have another one for Saturday late morning/noonish at the intersection of SR82 & 83 in Sonoita. There is a good size parking lot on the south-east corner with a steak house and a motel there. There is a gas station as well but it might have been closed when @Ace115 went thru there over New Years Eve.

I’m good anytime on Friday. I took the day off so early is fine or later if that’s better for everyone.

I was thinking that we were starting early on Friday after breakfast but I’m good with any time.

Do we want to make the meetup at Montezuma Pass for Friday morning then, say 10 to noon?

I'm obviously free for anytime since I don't have work to worry about right now.

I have the day off, I just need a time and location locked down so I can plan the six hour drive to the rendezvous point.

I like the idea of getting an early start however I don’t want to exclude anyone that might not be able to make it early on Friday. Let’s see if others chime in.

Your welcome to come down Thursday evening if you want and crash at my place, if that helps any. I have a spare room with an air mattress.

Is Montezuma Pass a good meeting spot for everyone? It's basically the start of the trail to head north and there's a bunch of parking there. Also a great outlook for anyone that is there early and waiting.

Same offer to you for a room for Thursday night. I've only got one air mattress but I have 2 spare rooms. Just me and the dog in the house so no worries about disturbing anyone here.

Thanks for the offer, but I plan on making a short trip into New Mexico to drop off a transmission in Silver City.

Looks like a good a place for meeting up.

Highly suggest taking the short .3 or .4 mile trail to the Coronado overlook. Spectacular views into Mexico and back up towards miller peak.

Agreed, that's what I was referring to. Just keep in mind that if you have your pups with you, no dogs allowed on the trial to the outlook. Have to keep them in your truck or the parking lot. I got a stern(ish) warning since I completely missed the sign and took my pooch up there with me.

I like this idea for a starting/meeting spot. Folks can air down and line up for group pics etc.
