This looks awesome and I am tired of the suction cup mount on my windshield!

 

I hate suction cup mounts. And the mark from the suction cups stays on the glass FOREVER!

That was one of the main motivations behind this project.

 

Where would you guys like to have an auxiliary hole for running cables through? in the center or off to one side?

Do you have to drill all the holes if you get the DMM. Not sure if I want the DSM or the DMM, May want the DMM but not want to drill all the holes until possible future use?

 

Drill the ones you want to use. Personally, I thought about that too, but then decided to drill them all and use some allen headcap screws to plug the unused holes.

The flexibility to change locations or add devices as needed over ruled that idea for me

Bumping this one back, should I decide to drill all the holes but use them. Then just plug it up!

 

As long as you are going to have the part off of the truck and taking the effort to even drill one of them, might as well take a little more time and do them all.
