See, this is what makes me a 'tard early adopter...two knobs, no ring.

    Sounds like a porno

Final update. If I have a good day only the back row will be ready to ship on weds/thu. If I have a great day ... all of them will be ready.

Running low on engraving tools, so I am being strategic to get everything finished before I touch those two stainless knobs (AKA tool killers).

That's tempting, but I really need to keep my ass moving today if I am to finish. If things are looking good at a decent hour I will let you know.

Looking like the "winter storm" is kinda bullshit anyway, assuming the roads are much better than anyone anticipated.

I didn't finish yesterday, but pleased with the progress anyway. Still need to engrave 3 on the top (one on the side as well), and drill/tap the collars.

I'm thinking of ordering a shift boot and e brake cover from Redlinegoods. Question, did either of you order the mounting bracket from them for the shift boot? I'm not sure if i need it and it's $19. Thanks fellas!

I ordered all three pieces from them. They were my Christmas present from the family.

I'd say to skip the brake boot and console cover, esp the extra height one (the foam provided is not nearly stiff enough). The brake boot is a bit too long and is not the noticeable difference that the shift boot was. If you do get the brake boot, you should get the bracket, which is a glued-in perimeter wire that clips into the console. Do note that it is not as stiff as the stock one. This causes a bit of fiddling to get it to stay clipped in. It would have been a massive PITA to get the stock wire transferred over.

Does anyone have an actual side by side of the auto knobs before and after? I'm interested if it lowers the knob quite a bit. It's really hard to tell from the pics I've seen so far.
    Awesome work though either way!

The V1 AT is the same height as the OEM knob. V2 AT might be 1/4" higher ... if that.

I'd like to get in on your next batch please, for an automatic. A silver one with the delrin ring around it would be perfect!
