do they ever go on sale or have you looked lowest price up. If 500 is a set number as lowest you can find then i'd think 350-400

Oh anything can break, I know that. None of my rigs compare to Eddy's either so I should be good.
My point was if you break a birfield with a locking hub you can unlock and not have to do a repair on the trail without messing anything else up.
With a collar the broken birfield keeps turning and grinding inside the axle.
They are pro's and con's on both, I just prefer lockable.

    just referring to unlockable hubs.

pros - less moving parts when unlocked
cons - weaker and getting out in the mud or bad terrain when you forgot to lock them prior to hitting trail lol

I stopped by my local Toyota dealership from where I purchased my Inferno from, to pick a bed mat. $130 with tax! Larry, the sales guy, told me that I could bring in coilovers and new leaf packs and they would install it for me, and still keep the warranty on the truck! This same dealership installed the 5100s that are currently on my 06 Taco.

Yep, no moving parts when unlocked and in 2 WD
The main reason for me is not having to change a CV on the trail.

I think they charged me $175 to put the Bilstein shocks in. I'm not sure on what the total labor costs would be. If it maintains my factory warranty after install, I'll be happy with it!

It was $119+ tax, so it wasn't too bad. My dad has bought 3 Toyotas from Larry and I've bought 2 over the last 25 years from this dealership. They treat us well and give us good prices on vehicles, cheaper than any other Toyota dealership for a hundred miles around.

With that being said, what do yall think would be a fair cost to change the rear leaf packs out and front springs/shocks out?

I don't really know yet. I want some Dakars for 1.5" in the rear and maybe some ADS remote reservoir coilovers for 2.5" in the front. Then I'll move a tire size up. Nothing too crazy.

Come down to Team One Toyota here in Rainbow City. Ask for Larry Peppers and he'll do you right! The sticker price for my truck was $39,865, I got it out the door for $36K with all the add ons, fees, tax and all.

Well, I AM open to suggestions from my Alabama brothers! Buy once, cry once and I'd love to hear some recommendations from the Bama boys here! Looking to move up in tire size 265/70/17s and 2"-3" lift in front and 1.5" in the rear. I know I want a full spring pack and not an AAL. As for the front, I'm kinda clueless. A big factor is that I will be my daily work driver, picking up kids from basketball, baseball and band practice!

    Concur.

I originally wanted to go with that OME setup, but at the time a few TW members had leaking issues and I don't think they are easy to rebuild, or even at all by the user.

Go with Kings or ADS... :D
