Hi anybody know of a good shop near Chatsworth that can replace an axle? My front axle snapped, the truck is still drivable but for a very short distance and slow.
    Thanks in advance.

    Anyone recommend a shop/person to do a 2/1 level kit install on a 3rd gen 2wd

Please dont recommend getting full suspension, etc. I just use my trucks for fishing and camping trips. Never to go offroading.

Saw a post by the guy in Corona. He gave me a good price but trying to avoid the drive if possible.

And you're dead set on someone else doing it? It's a very easy install, even for someone not mechanically inclined. I'm sure a member over near you will chime in if you need the help.

Yeah I would do it myself if I could. I have all the tools since I've worked on my cars and wrangler for years. Now I live in a apartment that doesnt allow working on cars in the lot.

I didn't go to Canoga Auto. A friend introduced me to a Toyota mechanic and he worked on my axle. He got me OEM parts cheaper than if I go to the dealership myself. Thanks for the recommendation though.

I can give you the contact info of the guy who fixed my axle if you want. He is in N Hollywood.

You could find yourself a nice empty parking lot on a Sunday out there in the valley. Maybe even do it over at lake Balboa in the dirt section of the parking area off Balboa or on the back side near the golf course.

@GHOST SHIP Thank you for referring me to @glorifiedwelder - he's been a pleasure to work with and pick his brain for advice on setting up my truck. He isn't done yet but, we were able to get started. Looking forward to this weekend.:headbang:
