I'm illiterate and don't need to steal. What place wouldn't hire that attractive young lady? She would look good in an Applebees uniform.

Wouldn't consider that much of a chase, more like a follow and report. I'd sleep better at night knowing those dipshits are going to face consequences for their actions.

Wonder if it’s more of the curiosity of what could be in the box? Or do they just not care, and will just to use or sell whatever for a few bucks for whatever or to support some drug habit?

At the place i used to live (so glad i sold the house and moved) used to have a bullet Cam pointing towards the entrance of the street. So funny watching shady people make uturns out of the street every time. Neighbor and across the street neighbor were drug dealers. Without getting into detail you can get rid of people like this. Cameras hamper their business BIG TIME! Especially when they record audio that is provided to law enforcement :)

This. Most of them will try to resell on craigslist, ebay, etc. or hawk it off to whomever so they can to score their next drug infused high. Very few do it for the actual thrill of it and eve fewer do it because they're hard up for cash.

It sucks to have stuff stolen, totally get that.... but if you get a motion alert message saying someone just stole a package on your front porch, wouldn't you have gotten one that said it just got delivered?? Just go outside and pick up your package instead of leaving it outside like bait!

Thank you for your judgement. But to me, package with zero dollar value is not worth my risking injury or property damage. Have fun with your vigilantism.

Can't hit a woman, so the guy that failed to talk her out of it, or potentially put her up to it, is getting the treatment.

    Grow a pair.

He did the right thing in calling the Sheriff's office and staying back far enough so he wasn't threatened and he could zoom off if it got ugly, like if the guy or girl pulled out a weapon of some sort.

Just this morning near me a guy was wearing a mask and swinging a large ax-like length hammer and pacing back and forth. This was at 7:30 AM on a busy street. He did this for 20 minutes. No one even got involved by calling it in. Then, the guy walks into a gas station, into the office, and starts beating the attendant with the hammer and robbed the station. Attendant was hospitalized.

Sometimes you just need to step up and do something or at least say something or the scumbags will take over.
