Here's our rig. 23' travel trailer; 25'11" from coupler to rear bumper. 3400# dry. We have logged close to 60K with this in tow.

Photo without cap is was our very first caming trip. The other photo was taken while overnighting at South of the Border this spring enroute to Florida.

wow, im new to trucks and towing and reading all these post and those huge loads without issues i feel now confident towing with my tacoma.. haha you guys made the 3,500 rating on the manual sound ridiculous.. I was thinking of using my truck to tow my scion tc to the race track to keep it cool and haul it if it breaks down, i was concerned of the 3,000 car weight +trailer would exceed the limit haha :D

A few shots of towing a 23 foot mako with my 2010 V6 Tacoma Double Cab TRD with towing package Boat weight with full tank and gear usually around 3,900 lbs + 1400 lb tandem axle trailer is at approx. 5,300 lbs I trailer the boat occasionally over the course of a year and it does quite well. Powers up the ramp, brakes are ok when giving plenty of room to stop on the highway with help of surge brakes on the trailer.. decent fuel economy plenty of power. trailer sway really isnt bad either I wouldnt plan on towing this kind of weight frequently but my truck performs quite well when I tow it occasionally short distances

Today my buddy and I went fishing, after hooking up the old Jon boat I took some pics. The boat is a 12 ft sears, the motor is a 7.5 hp mercury (which rips!). Shes old and ugly but she has had many big fish in her, and more to come!:D
