    Sorry you had a problem with the screw. There's no rhyme or reason as to which models have over-torqued bolts from the factory. Maybe the ones that were made in the USA plant are the tight ones:muscleflexing::oldglory:haha
    If you have to replace it, a nice button head allen screw would compliment it nice.
    Sorry! I just thought about it after seeing it on that calvalry blue one. I was thinking to myself, if it was color matched it would blend right in with the fuel door and look OEM AF.

    The inner ring would be masked off and not get coated since it's a high wear area. I'll paint a few to test.

    Nope. My 2019 SR was built in texas USA. I used a screwdriver with no problems getting the screw out. Probably the trucks from mexico that were built after lunch by someone that had an extra Burrito for lunch. :laughing:

    That's pretty. My last color match from spray paint for my BBP (the pro grill) turned out AWFUL, so I'm hesitant for a bit (and out of spray paint).

    I’m trying a spray for this. I got an auto grade color matched as well but it seemed like it was too dark. Gonna compare the two and see what’s what. I’ll post it installed after I clear it :thumbsup:

    Got my gasshole today and also had an overtorqued screw. Hit it up with some Aerokroil spray, tapped it gently with a small hammer, and used the snub nose bit below. Came out just fine. Gasshole fits perfectly and is generally awesome. Very satisfied customer.

    Possible answers:
    -It's to hold your gas cap while you fill up, so it doesn't dangle all over your fender and be generally nasty.
    -It's the end that's smaller (the point that is)

    For sure. I was able to paint my original panels you sell when I did my bhlm with the spray can and it turned out nicely. I think the issue on the grill was a wicked chemical fight (though I don't know) between the plastic adhesive primer (the goal was to paint on white instead of on black) and the result was bubbling/cracking and it just looked terrible. So I just plastidipped it back to black and bought some vinyl.

    What do you usually use as the base coat?
