Yeah we lost ours for like an hour yesterday. Then had some flickering all night.

The internet went down with the power which normally doesn't happen usually only lose power but internet keeps working

4g lte.....as for welding that's just life

 

Looks like I'm not getting onto the tree farm any time soon.

 

I'm suprised we haven't gotten a call to help out with our graders or front end loaders. We have one in the shop ready to go and another one at the fuller mountain pit chained up and ready to go.

 

All night long branches could be heard cracking and popping outside. Everything is covered with a layer of ice, and we're still getting more freezing rain. Power has been flickering, just enough to temporarily disconnect internet and kick me out of my VPN so far.

 

Oh, just got the call, going to go plow for the city of Snoqualmie.

Sounds nuts out in North Bend. My parents are out of town on vacation I was thinking about checking on their house today but nah. I’ve heard they have over 3 feet

 

I haven't put the switch to turn mine off in yet.

 

Drifts of 5' at our yard. Shit was up to my chin. Had to dig our way in just to get to the loader and grader.

 

I'd wait. The roads have about 4-6" of compact snow and ice.

 

I did a few years back after the abs caused me to slide down a hill and onto a main road twice.Thankful times nobody else was on the road. at least going downhill it seemed like it would kick in when not needed and once it kicked in that was it. This is at low speed (sub 20mph) and light breaking (ie planning to stop in 100 plus feet) With it turned off haven't had an issue

 

Weird question but does anyone here know if there is a way to check license plate and check who the car is registered to
I got robbed and I have the license plate on camera and police report but they said it’s not enough prove

 

At least someone getting a call for work. Everything we have is +2' of snow in it right now.

 

On the plus side, I just got back from running my sister and mom to the airport. For once traffic was great!

 

yep I just did some great snow wheeling in my neighborhood. Side streets are deep and I'm plowing snow and dragging my diff. I also just put on snow shoes and used a sled to go get firewood from the shed. But it's so powdery that the snow shoes don't even work. Took em off, it's easier to just wade through in boots.

serious shit though some neighbors have medical issues and need medication. One guy needs stitches. One guy spent the night in his car in the Safeway parking lot.

 

My wife's work has people snowed in in North Bend, can't even get there car out of there driveway. The pictures do not do it justice.

 

The very little I dug into the same sort of deal was pretty much nothing for the average Joe. DoL won't give the info just to anyone. There were some paid sites but I didn't care to much to try.

Police don't investigate property crimes though. Even having a licence plate, if you don't have an actual picture of the guy the owner of the car will just say it wasn't them. About the only way they get caught is trying to hawk a serialized item at a pawn shop. When my shed was broken into I talked to the sheriff about property crimes. Even with a new all he would do is drive by their place and see if it was visible. Outside of that...enter any serial numbers into the data base and give a report for insurance and move on to the next thing

it was many years ago but someone used my name on a paraphernalia ticket and of course didn't go to court as me and then I had a warrant. I ended up getting arrested one day when I got pulled over. I was able to get a copy of the original ticket which had the license plate. I contacted Olympia and they mailed me records of the owner of the vehicle at the time. Sent that with copies of the forged signature and my own signature to the prosecutor and they dropped the case.

I mean at this point I don’t care that much about the tools as I just don’t want them coming back
What they do is cut holes on the side of the vans and now it’s a headache for us
Tools are gone and vans are damaged
It’s second time with in 8 months same car same ppl
