    Yes you can. I bought 2 with my Md address & DL. The gun shop owner Tony (ex marine & police) told me in order for me to buy a non Maryland legal firearms I needed a tax paper with my WV address. He sent me to the courthouse a block away to obtain the proper paperwork. The lady behind the counter asked me what I was trying to do I explained "I'm trying to buy guns in WV", she said "Oh okay, here you go sir". Then I told her I needed my stepson's name (different last name than mine) added onto my tax paper so he could buy firearms too, she said "sure what's his name". Wouldn't be that simple here in MD lol.

    I think you can buy any Maryland legal long gun in a bordering state. Handguns have to be shipped to MD FFL though. Of course the dealer could always refuse the sale for any reason. For example not all out of state dealers might understand that HBARs are currently Md legal.

    I've been to some gun shops in VA and they have "MD Legal" on some of the long guns in there, but I was under the impression you still had to ship them to a MD FFL. Good to know! Actually, I don't think I'm buying any pewpews for a while. Not in the budget lately.
