    None... Yet.
Can I recommend a trip to the Manti-LaSal mtns. Beautiful area about an 1.5 hour drive from SLC. It has been a few years since I've been down there but it is one of my favorite places to go.

There are a few trails out near Wendover.

Pony Express Trail. Ends or Starts like 40 miles south of Wendover and other end is out near 5 mile pass. Its about 130 miles and is supposed to take about 5 hours (I'm guessing thats with stopping at the various scenic/historic places). Trail is rated 1/10, so its probably more of a "take your family, spend a night camping at the half way point, see all the sites, collect a geode or two" type of thing.

Lucin Trail is rated a 3/10, starts at Wendover and heads up to Lucin (ghost town). It goes through the mud flats instead of following the main road to Lucin.

Silver Island Mountains Loop. 1/10. Its basically a 50 mile loop that takes you to the Donner-Read Party and back along a different route. Starts near the head of the Lucin Trail just after the Salt Flats/Speedway road.

Transcontinental Railroad Trail. 2/10. About 90 miles long - 5 hours. Starts (or ends) at Lucin. Passes through many ghost towns (Terrace, Watercress, Kelton, Promontory) and ends up at the Golden Spike. A few washes and narrow spots, but pretty easy. Not very scenic, but more of a ghost town exploration trail I believe. There's also a few other things like the Spiral Jetty in the lake (some huge spiral art thing make out of rocks in the lake), and the sun tunnels (4 large (22 ton/8 foot diameter) concrete pipe with holes in them, arranged in a X)

Of course if you start at the Salt Lake side, you can stop a bit after Terrace and hook up back to Highway 30 to head back home to cut the trail in about half.

The Transcontinental Trail seems to be a popular low intensity/family trail for some of the 4wd clubs around Salt Lake.

You have been holding out on us... Have you ever explored the ghost town of Jacob City? When it cools down some desert ghost town exploration trips could be fun.

PS were are those slider pics you promised?

Hey so I thought to make it easier on everyone here and Im pretty sure everyone has a facebook or can make one.. I started a TW Group so we can discuss trail runs and other things instead of going from thread to thread.. check it out.

Any suggestions or do we all just want to stick with TW? I wont be sad if thats the case I promise.

I'll join the Facebook group because it's another great way to get the word out on these meets however we should keep the majority of our communication on TW.

OK, I am officially feeling bad that I couldn't make it. Looks like a trail that my pure stock Dbl-OR with stupid All-Trail tires could have done with no problems. I want to get to one of these meets soon.

I was 4-Wheeling and fishing the Madison in Montana at the time so I have an excuse.

Glad you Utah guys had a blast.

I'm not really into facebook, but I'll join the group and do stuff on there if thats the direction people want to go.

Well, I haven;t actually been to any of those places. Have just read about them. I haven't really explored much of any place myself, as friends dont have anything that can really travel on anything but pavement and didn't want to go at it alone.

I just got done washing the truck and thought I'd take a small break before pics, so they're coming up soonish.

Here's a few pics before paint. More close up pics of them in my gallery. I have them set at at about 15 degrees. Very solid considering they'll hold the truck and take my weight bouncing on em.

I only got the front wheel off the ground in this position. The front is about an inch off the ground and the rear is barely touching. I tried moving the jack back a bit more, but ya know, its not really that easy to balance a truck on a hi-lift jack, so it fell off shortly after I got both wheels in the air. I then decided it probably wasn't the smartest thing to do anyway and this is good enough to show strength. (and ya, I washed the truck while it was in the garage... the sun was just drying everything too fast otherwise)

    Greg the sliders look AWESOME!!!

I'm also glad to hear I'm not the only one that washes their truck in the garage from time to time.
