Pull saws are great,I carry the silky kantana boy 1000. Great to move trees off the trail, or when camping. I've downed some pretty large trees.

Could double as that too, the cold steel g-10 espada is always in the truck if I ever needed a spear.

Got some of the list covered, need to get recover gear. Did have a tow strap (didn’t know better), till I lent it to some yahoos trying to get a new style vw up the road. Can’t remember exactly what happened, definitely a few in, but where lining a truck up behind it to push it and one tire wasn’t moving as it locked up. So I thought it would be better to see them pull versus push, and living on dead end. Figured they must live up the road and would bring it back. Guess I was wrong.

    Anyways, nice list.

Nice! I have that list covered in my truck also, very handy. I only have a hatchet and the SOG shovel though, no saw. Also pretty light on recovery gear but do have shackles and a chain (yes, I know the proper use and limitations of a chain vs a recovery strap).

Tow straps are good for static applications but snatch straps are the way to go for basically anything else. @Bruce988jl and I can tell you its still a rough ride getting pulled out of a 3 foot tall snowbank, even with a stretchy snatch strap haha

Made it to the White Mountains today. Forecast calls for 6-10 inches of snow; it just started dumping out where we are. It’s been a while since I have gotten freshies to ride. Hitting up Wildcat Mountain tomorrow with the wife and I couldn’t be more psyched.
