Are you driving that on the highway there or trailering it there?

    I hear that Mike.

We were down at Indy in a snow and mud fest the other weekend. I was the only one to come out of the exit without rope. It was crazy.

Yall are doing Chinamans Monday? I cant Monday but that is a trail that I would like to scope out before so I wont be the guy that questions whether or not he can do it and isnt allowed to go. The bigger the trails gets, the better to have policys like that to keep someone from winding up in the wrong place in the wrong truck. I used to be very picky about where I would ride with certain people.

Right now, play it by ear. If it snows hard, the Penrose commons will be closed.

Chinamans is all about spotting with a Tacoma. I did it with my 99, 33’s, leveled, rocker protection, yadda yadda yadda.

Also, dude, chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature.

Odds of me being able to show on Saturday are looking good, assuming the weather cooperates.

I was going to say something too but I was giving the benefit of the doubt that it was a joke. Thats something I am trying to practice. It can be a real bitch.

To be honest, I haven’t done Chinaman Gulch in a few years. Last time we tried a night run almost ended up with a gun fight.

    Long story...

On TW, I wish I could show you all the complaints we get. Not far fetched.

Actually, two were adults (drinking) and one 16 yr old.

I’m actually friends with the “then” 16 year old. He turned his life around, joined the military, and works for a well known fab shop...even owns Toyota’s.

They came back in the morning, I was by myself with my then 3 year old daughter. They left rather quickly....

Those two adults never came so close to dying. Funny thing, is we found out rather quickly who they were and lived.

    Yes he is. Life happens.

He needs to sell the buggy, or finish it.

I still am, which is why I end up with no spotter almost always. Fine with me, I get to listen to whatever music I want without complaint of "Why were we just listening to metal, then Dolly Parton, and then Red Simpson, and then Taylor Swift??!??!?"

Haha. See? Two weeks ago I was listening to Marty Robbins non stop and dreaming about a trip down to Texas. Then I installed a new stereo to the truck, so I needed some more modern music that is higher digital quality and more frequencies to test out the setup.

No, I get that. But higher quality digital Taylor Swift just doesnt add up by my math. But hey man, to each their own. I wont tell anybody.

I'll just chalk it up to neuroplasticity. I don't want to get stuck with the times at any point. My housemate, who works as an Audio Mastering Engineer on mostly music (sometimes TV shows and others) is even confused by my musical tastes. "I have been working in the music industry for over 20 years and don't know anyone with as unique and varied musical interests".
