    Oh yeah, they suck on the street/passenger vehicle use. I see them though on construction vehicles working on a new building we're developing and they were trudging through rocks and mud. Granted, our mud out here isn't the thick clay stuff they have in the south.

    I really don’t know why I’m at war with these honeycomb tires. I guess for what seems like forever to me, they’ve been saying they are going to be the next big thing on cars and trucks...even mountain bikes and ATVs, but they never are because it’s a dumb idea for those types of vehicles.

    Yeah never really came into fruition because of what you mentioned. Never thought about mud and rocks getting in there. I just remember it didn't pan out on street cars because the ride was too firm and the tires were too noisy.

    Building a Broja
    BFG made the Scorcher TA tires in the early 2000s for a few years that had blue / red / yellow bands in the center that would leave colored lines on the pavement during burnouts. There was a big uproar that it could lead towards gangs marking their turf and eventually the tires died out.
