I installed my GE +130's in my low beams yesterday. I haven't had it out at night yet to see how they are. All I did was verified they worked yesterday. I should have ordered two sets and did my fogs at the same time probably.

I'm happy enough with the GE's vs my previous Phillips x-treme vision. Now that I want to order a spare set, neither Amazon or Powerbulbs have them in stock.

Nice! You went with all 4 right? You’ll have to post driving impressions one you get them in.

Anyone have another source for the Hella H9 bulbs? I am looking for a better option for up here in Canada.

The trick will be to be careful not to get the made in China ones. The Hyper version is made in Korea (the good one).

Already tried them. They do better than XD but still are not as bright as a performance halogen and suffer the same loss of projection issues, which really hurt performance at distance. The Morimoto fogs are also one of the lowest performing LED fogs, far better options exist. See here:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-led-sae-j583-fog-pod-fog-light-review.554813/

Edit: If you're fixed on LEDs those Hikari are the best performing ones I’ve tested for the Tacoma projector, but their quality is very suspect.

Any follow up on the plasma gold? I'm ccurrecur running ddm tuning 5000k hid and between the bounce and lack of distance I'm getting I'm looking for something that will do better, especially when driving through rain

If looking for an All Season H9 they are a solid choice and what I would go with. I wasn't planning any further comparison on them other than maybe grouping all the performance H9s in a comparison chart once I receive and test the 3 other bulbs I am waiting on to come in from over seas. There is no other performance H9s in an All Season that I am aware of. Xencn makes a 2300k version, but that is far too low in color temperature for headlight use and much better suited for a foglight.

Which... I am working on trying to put together the highest output foglight while eliminating blue light and reducing glare using some of the bulbs from these tests. Stock color, All Season color, or rich yellower 2500k color. One stone, multiple objectives. Interesting details start in my Foglight thread at post #378 here with several follow up posts on what I have been working on. Test mounting is tomorrow.

Thanks for the quick response. I think I'll order a set and try them out

Good to know. Luckily Hikaris come with 2 year warranty (hopefully I'll never have to use it) although I am now very interested in trying the GE bulbs. I might just order a set, if I can find them of course :) Thank You!

I'd suggest trying out the Hellas, I think you will like the fuller beam pattern better. Plus, they are currently a bit more available.
