No go on ice fishing Saturday, gotta work on account of crappy weather and having to drive people around.
I took the back seat out and yet people still want/need to ride with me

 

I should have taken a picture of the Ford SD that I saw yesterday! I'm not sure if it was a bad frame or just the bed itself but that thing was fucked up. Truck was maybe about 10 years old, white with a plow on it carrying a snow blower in the bed that was about to fall off.

but true.

 

I do see a lot of older Super Duties with that issue. I think the bed is what gets deformed to the point where it looks like it's at a 10 degree angle to the body (from repeated overloading and just general abuse). I actually looked under a couple I saw like that and the frames were still straight, the bed was just bent to shit around the frame. Mine will never see that type of abuse while I own it, but I do wonder what the aluminum body will look like on trucks like those, given the same type of abuse.

 

Yes I was! Im down here about 4 days a week! Were you in the truck? I usually got a pretty good eye for modded tacos and didnt see ya.

 

Normally its the bed mounts, somehow the front ones like to collapse. Every ford ive seen someone buy ends up needing them like 3 months after purchase

Got it as a gift. Had a Fiskars, which is nothing compared to this one.

Storm was a dud here. About 4 or 5 inches of sugar. Oh well. Enough to be hooligan on the streets of Henniker last night on the new sled for an hour

 

Is the turbo sled everything you dreamed it'd be?

 

It's pretty sweet! It's fast as can be and the chassis is so good you can't feel the additional 38lbs over the two stroke model. It's so quiet I can hear the track which is weird and there is zero vibration. And it's got a heated seat which I'm a bit embarrassed to say is awesome! I got it all set up last night with my mirrors and hand guards, luggage bags and auxiliary fuel tank. Probably will hit the rail trail tonight and try to burn through some fuel.

Probably Friday. Will also be camping on the ice both Friday and Saturday. UNLESS I can find someone to go sledding with me, but it looks like all my buddies want to fish the derby.
