    Then there is this.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/vi...-14-year-old-boys-rare-cancer-meds/vi-BBTvhzg

As a father whose dependent is insulin dependent and the loss of insulin could result in serious health issues for my son, including coma and death. I think chasing down someone with his meds is a very viable option for me. Even if it’s failing and calling it into the police.

Then go get 'em man. If your package is truly about life or death I'd consider a secured box or area for your deliveries. Edit: i get mine delivered to the side door behind a gate.

I wouldnt confront them, a neighbor using a Ring system driveway camera caught a guy checking his car doors, I zoomed into it and he’s holding a piece in his hand that he pulled out of his belt when the neighbor yelled at him:0A2D4D00-7FC4-44AA-9EE8-597A802BBDC3.jpg

Being military they shipmot all express scripts so there isn’t much of an option to set up a secure site. When the ex lived in West Seattle all packages went to a 7-11 near by to prevent porch pirates. That helped a lot, and fortunately we never had an issue withnpackage theft.

Most instances I wouldn’t care and would maybe make a report but when it comes to meds, game on

My mother receives a chemotherapy drug by mail. It's not life or death for her, but at i forget how many $1000's a month for the med I call her to make sure she gets the package as soon as i get the delivery notification. She's in a locked condo complex and has a box, so it's not a huge deal.

Then there’s the little punk that I confronted after he stole a woman’s cellphone and he pulled a real taser out of his wasteband on me (he didnt use it as I had my cellphone out and said “now he’s pulling a weapon out of his pants” loudly on the phone, and he ran away). The kid was probably only in 6th or 7th grade. I followed him from afar to see where he went and the Cops took him away when they found him.

Yeah but with a handgun like that and at that distance is like what? 50MOA because of the BIG front sight post LOL. Standard AR front sight post completely covers a paper target at 50 yards so its like 25 MOA LOL

Red Dots are the way to go. or a 20 inch AR with the longer sight radius

I am not talking about confronting though...If someone is stupid enough to yell at someone they should be prepared for a response from that person

For Reasons like this is why i have a garage to park my cars in

For home defense at these distances I prefer a small legal size shotgun.
Which, the smallest allowed, IIRC, is 26 inches overall including an 18 inch barrel.

Watch all the way to 2:22 max effective range for buckshot is 15 yards. after that you need slugs.

What if you need to reload?

I'm talking home defense, not trading shots with someone at 50 yards. Someone broke in and is standing in your living room. Someone jimmying the front or back door. Someone armed in your front or back yard. He said 18 yards and all nine pellets were on the human sized target. For home defense, ~55 feet, that's fine. Even if you 'only' hit him with say, six pellets, who's saying to stop firing? Hit him again.

You're not toe to toe taking on a trained hit squad. It's gonna be some druggie who maybe brought some type of weapon. Even if it's a gun, it's more likely to be a POS piece that he's not well versed in anyway. And he's a druggie so he's not all that focused. You're in familiar territory and he's not. And even if you miss with your first shot, he's gonna probably shit himself and run when he hears the shotgun blast, and, if it's night and dark inside, he'll see the blast too. I've had shotgun blanks fired in my direction during a night exercise 35 years ago. Believe me, I still remember it well.

I was only asking. Sounds like you have a plan for when these situations happen which is more that what people have nowadays. I believe the same people who made this video recently reviewed the aguila mini shells.

instead of 5-8 in the tube you can have 8-12

    if you have a

    Keltec KSG.....

Capacity: 14+1 rds. (24+1 Aguila mini shells)

    keltec KSG25.....
    • Capacity: 24+1 rds. (40+1 Aguila mini shells)
    OH yeah!

Interesting; maybe the cell phone has an extra value added that is a terrific defense weapon even if it is not on a call...bad guy thinks he is on camera and PD is on the other end. Might add the word "Officer" to precede "now he's pulling a weapon......"

Failing that, with the sizes of some of these modern smartphones, you can use the phone as a battering ram to knock the bum out!
