Its 110% worth it. I was running premium before hand so that wasnt as hard of a pill to swallow. Definitely drinks alot of gas though. I vote for a regear and a s/c. It will be a whole different truck

Ah yes, the "why not both?" argument! Only thing that concerns me is travel abroad where premium may be harder to find (Baja and remote Canada/AK)

An all too common argument on this website lol. It's why we're all broke as a joke from modding our trucks:laugh:

If you travel alot that could be problematic, but Torco makes some badass octane booster that you could keep in your truck in case of a pinch. Mileage with my 6spd is about 12 city 14hwy, so it really does limit you. Could also get a LRA 34 gallon fuel tank..

Speaking of which all these mods are starting to add up. Thats about 10k worth right there between the blower, gears, and fuel tank

I have a spreadsheet that tracks everything I have ever bought for my truck, dates, qtys, etc, plus the rest of my build plan. I can assure you, the numbers are horrifying.

I'm an accounting and finance guy for a living. I live in spreadsheets. I'm a single dude, so I don't have to answer to anyone but myself.

Also I track my maintenance items on it, so its a master file.

So you're saying i should never get married? :p

Well.. well.. whats the big nasty number then? :D

Gotta get rid of the evidence so the CFO doesnt find out how much you've spent. Then she'll know you've been cooking the books

No particular reason, just figured it was time for a change.. Someone suggested this a while back and i finally decided to run with it. Seems pretty fitting, as i do almost everything the opposite way as folks on here would:laughing:

If it’s the right woman then yes, do what you feel is best.
:D Number is less than YOU more than some

She has no clue what I’ve spent we have separate finances an one joint account for the house stuff an vacations. Plus she knows my deal finding skillz.
