Nah, that's the north/west end of Schofield, post one or both of the slides. I know some 2nd gens on here have gone through it, but I don't know if anyone has since the first slide (by which I'm talking about the two most recent ones that closed it down in the past few years).

Yep. I made it through with my non-slider, stock bumper truck... with a secret.

As I was inching my way through, swinging the front end wide on the sloped gravel wall and having it keep sliding down towards the giant rock I stopped to think. (I was alone with no spotter like most of the off-roading I do). 8-10 dudes on dirt bikes and side-by-sides came up behind me. We decided that they could try to lift up my rear end and shift it over a few inches and I could make it by. I sat inside the truck with the brakes locked up and they were able to lift and shift the truck over a half inch at a time. I just squeezed by. If I had sliders I would have just rammed it through.

    This was September 2018.

Joe Flacco coming to Denver? We better keep Sanders or he'll have no one to throw to... If Elway trades him away we'll be hurtin

Agreed on a trade for Flacco, can't be official until March, and they say it'll likely be a trade for a mid round draft pick. And there's trade rumors that Sanders could be leaving

Trying to find $$ for a lift, but money is super tight, LT265/75R16 DuraTracs are shot and need replacing, plus the timing belt and water pump are coming up on 100K in a few months. Trying to squeeze $$ out of the grapes, I mean tire replacement. Also, figure I can get gas mileage back if I go back to OE 265/70R16 size, or even 245/75R16. Just today, I noticed DT has GY All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar tires in P265/70R16 for $124 ea. But, p-metric, so they do not have the 3PMSF snow rating. :annoyed:

    What say you CO BSers:
    • Falken Wildpeak P245/75R16 (has 3PMSF) --OR--
    • Goodyear All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar P265/70R16 (NO 3PMSF)
    ???
