CBI sells them for the same price.

All youre doing is support some guy whos branded tacomabeast by buying shit from him which he didn't even make himself.

Most people don't buy shocks directly from the manufacturer, not sure why it matters. He still bought them from CBI.

Went to the car wash to get some winter road grime off and when I went to spray in the rear wheel well some of the coating on the frame came off. It didn’t look bad for an Indiana truck, more black paint than rust. My question is for those that use fluid filmdo u cover it up or do you just have to look at the yellowish foam forever thanks. It was fluid film in an areosal can by the way.

I don’t see them on CBI’s site anymore, might be able to get them if you call.

They must have been taken down in the last few months. I ordered mine from CBI’s site last August

Can you find the 1st gen frame plates on CBI's website? I couldn't, thought they weren't making them any more but was able to get them via tacomabeast. Had no idea he was an IGer.

Edit: NM, I hadn't read far enough yet. This was covered already.

I paid tacomabeast and they were drop shipped directly from CBI. Both plates were single piece per side.

Speaking of, just finished welding up the driver side. Eating some lunch and letting the primer dry now.

So for a rust-free frame, would you go ahead and use these, or the Autorust safe-t-caps?

I have a rust free frame, live in Tucson and the truck has always been an Arizona truck AFAIK. I'm happy with these. If you want to get crazy and really beef up a rust free frame, you very well could use those safe-t-cap things, might just be a little overkill. I might consider them if I lived in the rust belt and had a rust free frame, more as a preventative measure to help the frame last longer.

Just comparing where the hitch on your bumper lookscompared to a stock one it only looks like an inch to inch and half higher.

If I were you, I’d just get a longer drop hitch instead of replacing bumpers, but that’s obviously up to you.

I have a 99, I don't think the 98-00 had the filler neck support. It's not missing, was never there. My filler neck doesn't flop around either.

Edit: Looks like the filler neck support, on the 98-00 at least, comes off the front bed support from the frame.

Painted and back on all 4.

Yep that. Mechanics broke it when doing my VC gaskets. Need to figure out the PN so I can tell them about it. I thought something was off with that throttle cable, then I saw a piece of broken bracket near it.
