Been following that for a while today. At the end I was like, holy crap! That's some amazing stuff right there.

Well, new printer comes in tomorrow. Because I'm tired of listening to it all day, I'm going to make one of these enclosures for it: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3...xGzhAtgioCwB-dskfJrXLvhzQLNNe8SkwAP1_rY5oEPzk

So, since the first printer is kind of working, and I have 30 days to return it, I'm going to start printing all the parts for the enclosure while I have 2 printers to cut my time in half. Score. Just need to source some plexiglass to size and I should be able to have this thing up and running in a day or two once i get all the parts.

Where is your shop at? Not trying to stalk you or anything lol, just curious.

What will you do if one half of it falls apart and the other half is solid?

Don't you put that witchcraft curse on me! I'll print the smaller, less vital components on the old shitty printer and the support mounts on the new printer. Apparently they take 7 hours each to print  but I guess it's worth it, don't want shit falling apart mid print haha.

edit: I'll probably try for something like this guys https://imgur.com/a/oFFnxF0

I just read through the thread from when the auction closed. That’s a lot of coin but I’m glad there is some hope for some of those folks who got screwed by pelfrey.

    Kudos to @jberry813 and @JLee

My prints have been coming out much cleaner yesterday and today. I've changed my base layer method up a bit and it seems to be helping. It'll be exciting to be running 2 printers at once haha. I'm currently working on Han's blaster again. Printed the upper receiver and the bolt last night and they both came out pretty good considering all my issues. Printing the grips now, 5 hours down, only 2 to go haha. Can't wait to get this blaster finished though so I can paint it! And then hopefully print a Millenium Falcon out next

Ooof, just looked at the price of plexiglass. Don't think I'll be using that for my enclosure. Shit's expensive!

Never heard of it. Just looked it up on HD and they don't really have any small sheets. I need 4 pieces of 1/8" thick by about 18x19. I can obviously cut bigger pieces but I didn't see any single sheets close to that size. They just had it in big packs for $100+

I'll keep looking though maybe find something online to the size i need, thanks for the suggestion
