Okay I’ve got a question I have a 3in spaces lift on my Tacoma with total chaos uca’s, diff drop And 33x12.5r22 tires I’m thinking about adding another 1in spacer to the front as well do you think I will run into many problems.. I don’t off-road my truck at all it’s a “mall crawler” I honestly just want to fit the 35s without dropping 1k on a real lift
That’s the truck as it sits now...

How much experience do you have with bending? The first design will be way easier to bend

That backup camera needs all the help it can get, Also with 20% tint film on all the windows but the windshield I cant see shit when its dark and rainy! From what I have read these are a must for tinted windows.

I actually only ordered the square tube to start off but it was around $85 and since I’m a student, this project will just occur in my free time so I anticipate it all being around $200-225

You may be looking to do a 1" body lift.

That’s definitely the hardest part as I have no experience in bending but I’m hoping to find some resources at the college I attend. For now I’m just working on the square tube

I haven't done anything to it today apart from driving it. I may replace the pass. front wheel bearing this weekend.
I did find out that tomorrow is sort of an anniversary with the date of first use being the 14th.

Thats pretty sweet! thats not expensive at all, safe to assume you will be welding them on or are you making your own/buying bolt on brackets to weld everything to?

I really hate to do the body lift cause I know I could have that spacer put in in prolly 2.5hrs I order that spacer cause it was 30$ I’m gonna probably put it in and if my angles are too bad I’ll just pull it back out

Aight. You got a nice truck, i like it.

Lots of members here run a BL for the extra clearance and I hear they aren't too difficult to install.

Probably just going with a super basic weld on but I might machine some sort of bracket! I’ll post pics in the future of what I end up doing

Don’t stack lifts. About your only other option without going with a drop bracket lift or an actual suspension lift and doing quite a bit of cutting may be a body lift. Spacer lifts and body lifts are both frowned upon on here but it’s your truck

I have been debating building my own sliders and maybe a bed rack. Thinking about purchasing a harbor freight pipe bender and my dad has a pretty nice welder I can use at any time. Could keep costs low and learn a thing or two but am too afraid to weld sliders on.

    Good luck!

I had to modify mine to sit good. Looks like they revamped the design. Word of advice, trim that little lip off where the plastic shroud sits on it. It will sit flatter and the plastic pop fasteners will fit like they should.
