Mine is lifted 1” all around with 5100’s and I’m running 275/70/17 on a -10mm wheel with no rubbing.

    Absolutely - see below

Also, do you know which KMC wheel you are running? For reference, the offset will be stamped somewhere on the backside of the wheel next to the letters ET.

Here is 16x8 0 offset with 265 wide tires.
Keep in mind that if you’re changing the width of the tires that will also affect how much poke you have.

Im staying with a 265/70 tire. Im looking go from the stock 16x7 with 25 offset of the off road stock wheel and go to a 17x8.5 0 offset. Can you tell me the difference like you did for the other user? Do you think the tread will be under the fender flare?

    Absolutely!

The 17x8.5 ET0, when compared to stock, will sit as follows:

    upload_2019-1-30_7-1-31.jpg

When it comes to the fender poke, a 17x8.5 ET0 will sit slightly outside of the fender, so with tires mounted, the assembly will poke outside of the fender.

I would imagine a 17x8.5 +14 offset will sit right around flush with the fender? Or will it sit slightly out?

An 8.5-inch wide wheel with +14mm offset will be about flush with the fender, maybe even 1/4" tucked inside.

Are you thinking sidewall poke or actual tread poke? I’m good with sidewall but can’t have tread out from under the fender

I have my new wheels on now that are +14 offset and they actually stick out different on my passenger side than driver side and I would guess that a 0 offset would get tread out from under your fender

Looks good! How are you liking the +14 stance? Is there decent enough clearance behind that 8.5" wheel and the uca/suspension?

I'm also looking at 17x8.5s, but I'm having a hell of a time deciding between -12 or +12mm offset

No clearance issues whatsoever, I went with a higher offset because from everything I could find, going past 0 offset might cause rubbing. I also didn’t want to move to a mud terrain tire and have the tread rub on any part of my fender, so this was a safe option for me

Did you lift your truck at all when changing tires/wheels?

Could you post some pics if you still have this same wheel/tire setup?

I don’t have the best pictures to show how far the tires stick out but hope it gives you a good general idea.
