Bad Idea/dangerous to paint steering wheel air bag?

    Any danger to paint wheel and airbag? I will tKe apart of course, but will spray trigger airbag?

    Your hand oils will break down whatever paint you use and probably make it look terrible. Plus the paint on your hands, just seems like a bad idea regardless of the airbag.

    Steering wheel wraps/covers are an option.

    Just set it off before you paint it OP so
    you can get all those hard to reach spots

    I was ready to put dash back in and parts, but been watching more and more videos on diy. Now think of dyeing carpet and painting interior frame. Ugh more disassembling. If imma do something, better do it right the first time.
