Just blew the radiator in Igor. Cooked the motor good and pribprob the tranny too.

Half way to home. Supposed to snow tonight.

Still haven't put in the new fuel pump in the little truck which also needs a clutch.

Very. Steaming out the pin hole. Boiled over into the over flow. Temp gauge was maxed out when I noticed it

 

I think it's for the alarm beeper

 

Yep. Blew a hole in it somewhere up front passenger side.

Idk could have. Was fine this morning though and was not Uber colder the last 2-3 days.

Idk. Still liquid in the top hose. I don't think I lost a ton. But have a friend towing me home. To far and middle of no where

 

It'll boil (overheat) earlier if it can't hold pressure

 

They can be, should hold .9 bar. But I suspect the pinhole is probably the culprit haha

 

Nah somehow something made a pin hole or broke a seam. From there is just all down hill.

Didn't have a shackle...of course..so had to leave Igor in a pull out. Have to get it tomorrow. Somehow.

Ugh.

Yeah. Not even bad luck. It's that I can't maintain them well. Hate it.


Just tried getting it. Of course my shackle won't fit the recovery point. Spent like 30 mins trying to file out the hole and shackle. Going home again to take a grinder to the shackle bolt.

Poor marks for relentless on that front.

What did you do with the motor from your double cab? What was the mileage?

Did not think I need it but if I totally nuked the rings then I might..

 

Trouble on the top passenger side area on that radiator? Didn't you have a mounting issue in that same area at the north rim? I never fully understood what had happened and what you did to fix it.

 

Yeah had a gap there. Just put washers there for now as I couldn't get the bolt tighter.

 

Same area as the pin hole maybe?

 

I have it crated up on a pallet. Think there was 207,000 on it.

 

Ish. Think the hole is just under the top tank. The mount is like what..4-5" lower so not sure.

Lol well I hope not, but yeah if you need it you are welcome to it. I'd be more concerned with a warped head if you overheated.

 

Yeah that's likely or melted rings I think. But hoping for neither.
