How? Dont you need to remove some plastics to find the OB2 port and plug in your computer?

Just in case I like it better. Id like to be able to go back and forth once or twice to get an idea of which one I like more and wish to keep. If my MPGs drop too much with the performance one I might have to go back. I drive a lot, I almost have 64K miles on my 2017.

You should probably drop the idea to flash truck by yourself

Got my kit in the mail, downloaded the software, read the instructions 26 times and now waiting for the registry files.

I ran the Toyflash and I assume I can populate the dropdown once I get the registry files? Don't have "Tactrix" showing up in there yet.

I never picked it up lol I was just starting to consider what it would actually take to go through with the flash.

Then get familiar with your truck. Start with finding all fuse panels....

Go to page one and look at the instructions. It answers your questions.

Your truck looks like it has some weight and mods. You will probably benefit a lot more from the new tune updates just like me

You will probably be waiting on the new FM to get anything done. It is supposedly due Friday and will have all the tunes with it. Mat mentioned and the website shows they are delaying some info to get the new update pushed on time. But under interface you should have an option for a cable that will connect unless you havent installed the drivers yet.

Hey some of us are really lazy.

Like me. Still on 1.02 because I’m too lazy to drag my laptop outside until gear lock is out.

I wish I had used my smaller windows tablet so I could do that easier. My good laptop has way to much $$$ and is a bit big to be running around in the truck

I could easily predict 1.04, 1.05 is a little unpredictable for my truck. I could also predict my mpg on 1.04. On 1.05 my truck is bipolar with mpg

Yeah, really wish there was a way to transfer license from one laptop to another.

There is. If you get a new laptop email the ovtune zendesk support. Matt can transfer your license.

Just flashed my truck last night at work from stock to 1.05 93 with 93 in tank
    Pros: more response
    Better low end torque
    Holds 6th gear alot better
    Smoother driving/shifting
Doesnt clunk as much 2>1 downshift
Cons: wont hold 2nd gear when getting on it (+/- 60% throttle), shifts at 3500 rpm and not higher
2-4 misfires every time you gas it.
Hopefully engine and trans will keep learning and fix these issues or the new performance tunes will fix it when they come out very soon

Oh, nice. Got the impression that they wouldn't do it. Going to start keeping my eyes out for a deal on a netbook that will fit in the glove box.

Just dont expect assistance if it appears you are abusing it... like moving to a different laptop every X months over and over

    Several updates this month:
    1. New flash manager
    2. New tune options (via flash manager)
    3. Gear locking dyno end of this month (stock torque limit vs gear lock available torque).
    4. Dyno results of 1.05 performance W/ 7000 rpm
    5. new development for another type of fuel.

    All included with our kit!
