Thanks to uncle sugar, I’ve only packed one time in 25 years for a local move...never again.

I hope I dont have to do it for a long time. I've had to pack every year or two for the last 8 years of my life.

Happy Valentine’s Day to me with this new diff skid. And happy Valentine’s Day to my wife with paint fumes in our basement.

We were thinking about moving to ME when I get out of the military because my wife has family up there. We decided against it because neither of us enjoy the cold that much.

Lol. I don’t mind the cold. People look at me like I’m crazy down here. 15 degrees outside and I’m in shorts and a hoodie

Didn’t you have one already? If so, what are you doing with the old one?

    A thing or two...
#v6problems :poking: I basically get 20 mpg no matter what with my 2.7 since I moved out here. I haven't checked it since 35s and regearing, but it isn't drastically different just based on when I need to fill up.

Moving is a great time to purge all the crap you don't need anymore. I always throw out so much stuff that's accumulated when I move.

You should be a master at it then.

We moved all the time growing up. The longest we stayed in one place was about 2 years until the mid-90s. We'd pack the entire house of 5 people and be on the road in a week or less. During college, I'd pack everything in a day or two to clear out of the dorm room for the summer.

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
I just remember all of the 2nd genners complaining about MPG when I first got on here, and had a 2nd gen.

Then the 3rd gen came out. And more complainers came. I'm not saying you are complaining @BFRT_King Ranch. I just specifically remember on the V6 4.0, that being the old "rule of thumb". I know nothing of gas milage on the 4 cylinder. Never had one. But with all the stuff on my truck, if I get 17 I'm happy. But I keep it at 65, no cruise.
