Hi All - Joined today. 2001 extra cab with 260,000 miles bought recently. Had one a few years ago that like an idiot I left in Africa when I was stationed there (I thought I had beaten it up so decided to sell it there). I finally got around to getting another one. It's in really good shape for age and miles. I'm in the Annapolis area (Arnold).

Thanks! I'd love to get some eyes on the truck to give me suggestions on what I should tackle first. There seems to be some minor rust on the frame which will be my first major project since that will decide how much time/money I put into this one. It was a bit of an impulse buy, so now I need to figure out what it's going to take to be 100 percent - or if I should consider selling it and getting a cleaner one. Body and interior are great. Engine runs great. All mechanicals seem good, and 4x4 seems to work. Haven't tried the Locking Diff yet, but thought I'd change all the fluids before I do that.

 

I'm hosting a meet last weekend of this month at my cabin in WV. Your more than welcomed to join us. Zip is 25422 to give you a idea of distance, takes me 2 hours to get there from my home in dundalk. Always a great time.
