Well. Short story. They took orders, took payments and deposits. Fell behind, went silent, promised they were good and would provide info at a future point and asked people believe in them. People got worried, pulled out and asked for refunds.

Pelfrey’s investors backed out and left them high and dry with their lackluster business dealings and left the Pelfrey’s with no other option than to file for bankruptcy protections leaving hundreds of people in limbo. People with their hard earned money tied up with Pelfrey in deposits or paid in full amounts. Paid with credit cards, ACH payments and cash.

When they filed bankruptcy it absolved them of financial responsibility to those who paid into them leaving several people out their hard earned money.

Some were able to recoup their losses through their financial institutions and others were just shit out of luck.

They left everything behind in the facility they were renting. Owner sought to liquidate the stick. It goes to legal auction. Bidding war ensues and @JLee and @jberry813 win the lot and begin taking strides to make things right.

Meanwhile. The Pelfrey are tied up in Court proceeding and making strides at living their life in another state.

So, in short, they aren’t one of our own.

For those of you getting a refund on federal taxes.... I hope you understand that it is your money that you gave them, now you are getting some back, without interest. Time to change your witholding so that you can use it all year long. Adjust every year due to constant changing tax laws.

I prefer the nice spring time bonus vs the extra $10 per paycheck. That may change once I graduate and start making real money again, buy house, etc.
