Thats perfect, my inner gasket on the fiber glass shell looks like just like yours, tucked in. My gasket on the glass is alot thicker. Yours looks like its half the width. That is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for doing that.

I ran 35w for about 2 years and the 55w seems to throw longer and light it up better . Hope it’s not the Placebo effect but I’ll take it!!

That was one of the main weighing factors that made my decision to trade my black '16 SR5 much easier. This Silver Sky Metallic paint on my '19 SR is allot more forgiving.

This is true. Only way I would own either color is if someone bought it for me. And then I would make an appointment to have it Line-X'ed.

Yeah not sure if I would ever do black again, I think I finally got it down on how to clean it properly without leaving swirl marks and what not. Wish I knew all this before I got it , but I still love it

There is definitely a noticeable difference between the 35w and 50w morimoto ballasts. I ran the 35w until one of the ballasts died then had TRS replace with the 50w (had to buy one since only one of my 35w died). Couldn't be happier with my light output.

I'll be honest... A year ago Feb. 9th as I was waiting on the salesman while he was talking to his boss. I was standing at the window looking out at my Black Beauty and came dam close to walking out and driving away. If the a/c would not of had the cow manure stank I would of. I had thought about getting it Line-X'ed and driving it without using the a/c but you could still smell it strong once the weather warmed up even with the a/c off. Salesman posted these pictures of her on his Facebook page the day after I traded her. And they never had to detail it before putting it on the lot.

Heat gun or blow dryer, microfiber cloth, WD-40 and some patience. Search the 3rd gen forums for "debadging". I did mine, and all the Tacoma, 4x4, etc chrome badges in 60-90 minutes, but it was 40 degrees out, would have been less time if it was warmer

i used a heat gun and goo gone.
it wasnt easy on mine. probably because it was on there for more than a year getting baked in Texas heat in the summer.

ended up finding that if i sprayed goo gone, and let it sit for a few minutes it became easier.
