I will grab the fluids when the radiator arrives! As for install, I work on these for a living, so I’m sure I’ll figure it out haha!

ol its wierd. I can tear apart the helo, and fix everything down to composite and metal repairs, track and balance and even turbine engine swaps. But sometimes i doubt myself when i work on my daily driver. Not sure why. Maybe because uncle same pays for the helo parts. I have to pay for mine hahahah

I went with this and the FJ shroud and resi on my turbo build, paired with Evan’s Waterless Coolant & a 180 thermostat and I run 186-191 degrees. My temps actually DECREASE when I rev high and get into boost!

I think I went with parts from Advance Auto online due to shipping costs at the time of sale but whatever Rockauto says will fit a FJ will work

    edit:
you'll need two clips and 2 or three bolts too

Thanks for that man! Question, if i go with the 2010+ Fj shroud part number 16711-31510 and reservoir tank PN 16470-31130, do i still need all the other stuff like the bushings bolts and clips?

    I reused my bushing bolts.
I’m not sure about the difference in FJ shrouds.
You definitely need the clips and bolts I listed

So finally done installing. After almost a gallon and half of fluid, and a sore back, she’s holding at 177 degrees at idle with ac on blast, and 181-183 driving temp. Still need to burp the system one more time so maybe the temps will get a bit lower.

    That was quick.
What’s the difference between the shrouds?
