What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I vote stack the spacers and see what happens

 

So you will spend over 1k on 35’s but won’t spend the money on a decent lift? To each is everyone’s own but the safest way even if it only road is a decent lift. Stack those spacers and you are asking for trouble.

 

Replaced fog light bulbs with brighter, Amber bulbs

Couldn't get a clear picture because the lights were too bright for the camera to focus properly

 

Just record it if something breaks.

 

How did you get the wiring harness through to the engine compartment?

 

Looks sweet!! Which ones did you go with? Is the output at night better than white stock?

I like the amber LED KC's but I would more than likely deal with a lot of icing over in my climate 4 months of the year. And I cannot find anything but 55W halogens with the yellow coating in H11.

 

These are the ones I went with They are brighter than the stock, but I think since they're LEDs, and the light point source is different than the halogens, they seem to spread more than the stock halogens.

 

Only reasons is my 33s are the same price as 35s and I’m about to have to buy new tires anyway and figured I go up in size

 

Today it's raining in Southern California so I'm working in the garage and just happened to recieve a 22" LED light bar for Valentines day from my wife.
So I installed that today on my Ebay bumper. I also used a Cali Raised OEM light switch in Amber to match the other switches.

 

Made a small cut in the large rubber grommet that has the bulk of the wires going to the cab on the driver side firewall and just fed it through.

 

Thanks for the feedback, I am trying to avoid the whole LED's in a halogen reflector glare issue. But I really want yellow fogs. 1. for rain, fog and snow vision and 2. because I just like the way it looks.

Nokya sells a really nice yellow halogen bulb that works well in our fog lights. Defiantly worth checking out.

Driving myself mad looking at seat covers. I just got my Taco a few weeks ago and it has a small wear spot on the left side of the driver's seat. It's down to the foam and I don't want it to get worse. Should I just bite the bullet and go Clazzio? If I get the PVC version they're really not any more expensive than neoprene covers and look nicer. I also looked at Carhartt but they're around $250 just for the front. I get a full PVC set for $360 after a 10% promo.

 

I got the Coverkings Mesh seat covers from CarID, both front and back seats were 200$ and fit great. Might be an option to look into if you want a good cheap choice.

 

Those don't look bad and the price is nice. I'll keep those in mind.
