I'll be honest... A year ago Feb. 9th as I was waiting on the salesman while he was talking to his boss. I was standing at the window looking out at my Black Beauty and came dam close to walking out and driving away. If the a/c would not of had the cow manure stank I would of. I had thought about getting it Line-X'ed and driving it without using the a/c but you could still smell it strong once the weather warmed up even with the a/c off. Salesman posted these pictures of her on his Facebook page the day after I traded her. And they never had to detail it before putting it on the lot.

Heat gun or blow dryer, microfiber cloth, WD-40 and some patience. Search the 3rd gen forums for "debadging". I did mine, and all the Tacoma, 4x4, etc chrome badges in 60-90 minutes, but it was 40 degrees out, would have been less time if it was warmer

i used a heat gun and goo gone.
it wasnt easy on mine. probably because it was on there for more than a year getting baked in Texas heat in the summer.

ended up finding that if i sprayed goo gone, and let it sit for a few minutes it became easier.

Using some floss works well for getting behind it at first and doesn’t scratch.

Went back to the K02s! The Wildpeaks ride great, but the 10ply sidewall of the BFG gives me piece of mind on the trail.

Anyone else having deja vu, like most of us just had this same exact conversation with the same exact fixes/techniques?

I think something in the TW just changed.

Just installed the black chrome TRD exhaust this afternoon! Sounds great, in fact, louder than I thought it would be after reading some of the threads here.

This is the entire TRD exhaust. I don’t know that you can get the TRD tip without getting the exhaust. I’ve only seen the Toyota branded ones as well.
