First 1000 miles report

Finally got the Tacoma the way I like.

step up rails
bed cover (Toyota)
tinted front door glass
cover for receiver hole
cigarette lighter changed to amp readout/charger
radio stations set
cargo net

No problems so far

1. there is a slight vibration in steering wheel at certain speeds , dealer says normal
2. hard to get use to slight delay in push button start, something is running for a second or so, maybe electric fuel pump? dealer says normal



runs well at high interstate speeds

 

For your slight vibration, raise your tire pressure up to 34/35 psi from the 30 psi Toyota has in door jamb sticker. This helped on my 2nd, and 3rd gen.

Its a good lookin rig

 

I think the tires are a couple of sizes to small. not really into off road events but it might look better if the tires filled up the wheel well a little better. Whata think?
