Failed for no covers on my fog lights, b.s. Told them to put some tape on them! They didn’t know what to do but finally taped them up so I could get my sticker. I feel like we are loosing more and more !

No inspections in beautiful California! Although, we can't run uncovered lights either.

We good citizens of the state of Oregon don’t have any safety inspections and if the damn fools in Salem put such ridiculous crap in place I’d march on the capital with tar and feathers!

Why would you need fog lights covered? Must have been a new guy doing inspections.

That's a good question. Factory I couldn't see why, but if they are added or maybe some different bulbs that are too bright, then that would make sense.

Haha! I've gathered a reputation. ;) To fully come clean I don't think of myself as the "California is the best guy", I think of myself as the "Don't bash my beautiful state guy". Although yours is workable too. Let's face it California, for whatever reason, has become an accepted whipping boy. It is just not fair or helpful and I just don't like it. I realize California has its fair share of issue - and some really big ones. I believe as California goes, so does the rest of the nation. So, we should love California and help it with the issues not bash it as it is on the forefront of many issues that will affect other states in due time.

I made the conscious decision to respond to people who bash California (not sure I can sustain that as it so pervasive on TW). I'm sure other states fit others better than California, that is great! If you don't like living in California, live somewhere else, no reason to bash California. I spent time in other states and they are not for me. I'm not going to bash them as they are what they are. Not good or bad, just not for me.
